For the past few weeks I have been spending some quality time exploring around my local parts close to home. When I first started photography and exploring nature, I spent a great deal of time scouting around British Columbia and learning how to use my camera at some beautiful local spots. I sometimes often feel it can be boring shooting or exploring local areas around here. Recently I have been rediscovering some pretty sweet local spots. I guess with having a new vision and views now then I had back then things typically change, compositions, light, natural moments in nature. It truly goes to show you don’t have to travel thousands of miles to capture amazing moments and beauty. This is a 10 shot hand held panoramic image I took on my new 70-200mm lens that my good friend and business partner Hillary Younger decided to give me for my birthday about a month ago. I can’t express how truly grateful I am to have such an amazing friend!
